| Jason was found on Petfinders at the Boulder City Animal Shelter. He had been thrown out in the desert and they figured he had survived about 2 weeks in the desert by Boulder Dam in June. He was starved, so sunburned, hardly had any hair. The lady said he should have been put down days before but she just couldn't do it. After having him a few years we discovered he had a bad valve in his heart and they gave him 6 weeks to live. I sat in the vets office and cried for almost an hour before I could leave to drive home. Well he showed them, he lived over 2 yrs more. Then one morning he was gasping to breath and I knew it was time. I took him in and let him cross over to the rainbow bridge while I held and kissed him and told him how much I loved him. He was the toughest dog I've ever known and wasn't afraid of anything. He was a lover and wonderful companion and we miss him everyday. We will see you again baby, play and have fun until then. Mommy & Daddy |
