Information about the recent CTV News coverage in BC
As a pet parent, I am feeling all kinds of emotions in light of the CTV investigation of BC pet crematorium providers. The emotions run the gamut from anger to deep compassion for the thousands of victims affected by pet cremation deception, not only here in BC, but as far as the UK with Emma Bents´ pet cremation criminal actions.
First and foremost, I extend my deepest condolences to all the pet families affected by the results of this investigation. Losing a beloved companion is hard enough, I can only imagine the anguish at realizing the ashes in the urn may not be those of your deceased companion!
Secondly, I want to assure ALL the families I have helped, either directly or through my valued veterinary clinics, McKenzie Veterinary on Carey Road and Central Victoria Veterinary Clinic on Roderick Street, that the pets entrusted in my care were handled with the utmost care and dignity. Rest assured the ashes in your urns from Pet Loss Care Pet Memorial Center are those of your beloved companion.
Going forward, Pet Loss Care Memorial Center will be enhancing current procedures, as well as implementing new business practices to provide complete transparency to any family using our pet cremation and memorial services.
A complete description of our procedures are listed on our ´
Business Practices´ page.
