Pet Memorial Center introduced at the Pet Blessing

Christ Church Cathedral (Quadra at Rockland) held their annual Animal Blessing Ceremony on Sunday, October 3rd at 2pm.

The Pet Memorial Center was introduced to the community by the Dean of Columbia and Rector of Christ Church Cathedral, Logan McMenamie. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate St. Francis, the Patron Saint of Animals, and to honor humanity´s connection to the animal world.

There were many animals present, from wonderful canines and ´timid´ felines, to birds and hampsters.

The BCSPCA was presented with a check from the Animal Ministry in support of the BCSPCA´s wonderful work.

All in all, a very wonderful, uplifting time was had by all -
