| Right from the start you were meant to be
a major part of our family We chose another but her leg was lame then we opened our hearts and in you came When you werenŽt sound asleep on your soft bed youŽd straddle his shoulder and lick daddies head Never went down any stairs in your life going up seemed to cause enough strife DidnŽt know quite how to squeak a toy bone but a similar sound you made on your own An upset tummy required fresh grass a nice long nap then it would pass Your tiny body hardly had fur no one was able to find the cure Dressed in clothes to keep off the cold you looked so cute and were cozy to hold The doctors took blood and gave out pills to help you thru times when you were ill WeŽd have done anything to stop your pain and have you back in our lives again Our little girl has gone away but in our hearts sheŽll always stay A brave little fighter right to the end straight up to heaven she did ascend There is one thing we hope you know we understand why you had to go Thanks for giving us the best 10-years the love the joy and even the tears Not sure what weŽre so sad about weŽll see you again, we have no doubt Love Mom & Dad | |||||||||||||||||
